As the war was ending and certainly after it had ended, many of the residents of Antwerp provided grateful housing to the troops remaining in Antwerp. Dad was fortunate to be among those blessed with local hospitality. This photo set shows his new digs, after moving out of the. These photos show Dad in his new home out of the Army camp shown in a previous set, his hosts, and other friends bicycling and touring around Antwerp and perhaps elsewhere in Belgium after the end of the war.
